All boards ordered on our site are delivered assembled and ready to be installed.

Application of a protective varnish.
 
A protective varnish is applied to the canvas  to enhance its stability and durability. This Clearshield Type C varnish, specially designed for the protection of high quality inkjet prints on fine art textiles, makes canvas  more resistant to light abrasions, scratches and touch (dirty hands or greasy).
Our technique of artisanal application by spraying in several very thin coats of varnish makes it possible not to alter the pigmentation of the print and to preserve all the finesse of the high resolution details when adding this protective layer.
The depth of the blacks and the brightness of the colors are then reinforced and increased for a clean and qualitative rendering. In addition, this varnish with a satin finish protects the ink from ultraviolet rays, thus guaranteeing the durability of the colors of the print. This varnish is used on all of our canvases.
 
Enhance your paintings : the American wooden frame (optional).
 
During the ordering process, an American frame is  automatically offered as an option to enhance our paintings  (except for very large formats). The American frame is a type of frame specific to giclées stretched on a stretcher frame which brings them an undeniable added value. The painting is highlighted thanks to a space between the edge of the canvas and the molding which gives the work a floating effect.

Our  American boxes in L  are delivered assembled and ready for the realization of your frame. They are made in France in  a workshop located in Seine et Marne. The assembly of the rods is done in a traditional way, as for the classic frames, via specific staples called V-nails or “V-Nails” which ensure an excellent maintenance of the whole.
